2009 Public Nights Premier Event: March 7 - 8:00 to 10:00 PM. -- Saturn Observation Night. See Saturn without its rings!? Well, they're there, alright, but in a rarely-seen edge-on position and nearly invisible to us! We'll also look at the Moon and, perhaps, other objects such as the Beehive cluster and the Orion Nebula. We may try for Comet Lulin but it will be very near the bright Moon and possibly hidden in its glare. Experience amazing views of Saturn through the Observatory's wonderful 100+ year-old telescope... a sight not to be missed! NOTE: If weather keeps us from our Saturn viewing, we'll try again, same time, Saturday, March 14. Updates and more information at StephensObservatory.org
